HAPPILY SOBER - What You Win When You Quit Drinking

  • Well-founded and without judgment: How a life without alcohol strengthens body, mind, and relationships.
  • Credible and relatable: Eduard Freundlinger shares his motivating success story as a former sufferer.

Alcohol - for millions of people, the epitome of conviviality, enjoyment, and relaxation. But what if the supposed friend slowly turns into an opponent?

This is exactly where Eduard Freundlinger steps in: After 37 years of excessive consumption that nearly cost him everything, he found the path to a sober life and now shares his experiences as a coach and author. In Prostlos glücklich, he demonstrates that abstinence is not a loss, but a gain in clarity and true freedom.

He names 33 specific advantages of a life without alcohol, structured across five areas: Body, Mind, Relationships, Personal Growth, and Joy of Living. Each chapter combines well-founded facts with ruthlessly honest self-reflection - and encourages readers to go their own way toward freedom. An authentic, motivating book for anyone who wants to examine their relationship with alcohol.

Eduard Freundlinger (born 1970) is an Austrian author, coach, and adventurer. He sailed across the Atlantic twice, spent years traversing the Caribbean, traveled to almost 100 countries - and finally found his home port in Andalusia. Always on board with him: alcohol. Until he took his last drink on February 22, 2022, and began the upgrade of his life. This profound turning point led to the founding of Prostlos Glücklich® - a rapidly growing movement for a sober lifestyle.
