FEAR HELPS CHILDREN GROW STRONGER

There is no such thing as life without fear, not een for children. But often, parents feel guilty, if they have done something wrong when their children are afraid and show their fear. Dismissing the fear by saying that “it isn’t that bad” or “stop acting like a baby!” can lead to children feeling as if they are alone, and that they must repress their fears.

Jan-Uwe Rogge argues that children need to accept fear, which helps children grow stronger when they learn how to overcome it.
