ATTITUDE – A Practical Guide for More Professional Behaviour in Daily Pedagogy

  • Keep your composure! But how?
  • A book from practice for practice: numerous illustrations and case studies from everyday pedagogical life guarantee clarity and relevance.

Whether you work in a school, nursery, assisted living group or as a counsellor – anyone who works in a position that requires pedagogy needs a professional attitude in order to be effective while remaining motivated and healthy. However, it is often unclear what a “professional attitude” is, how we can achieve it and keep evolving.

This is where Katrin Halfmann, who has ample experience working as a psychologist, mediator and teacher at a vocational school, begins: she defines criteria for a “professional attitude”, explains how we can live the necessary values and virtues, keep our composure in stressful situations and, last but not least, develop a culture of professional cooperation determined by respect and responsibility.
